The Pulaski County Lady Maroons welcomed in the Madison Southern Lady Eagles on Monday. Despite an early goal from Maycee McQueen, the Eagles held a 2-1 lead at the half. That score ended up going final just a few minutes after the halftime break, as the game was delayed and eventually called due to lightning in the area.

The Southwestern Lady Warriors ran their win streak to four games on Monday, taking down Estill County by a final score of 7-0.
Shayla Jones had an absolutely massive day on the pitch, totaling five goals to go along with two assists. The Somerset Lady Jumpers traveled north to Mercer County on Monday to take on the Titans, but unfortunately couldn’t get anything going on the offensive end of the pitch as they fell 6-0.
Somerset falls to 4-9 and will next host Casey County on Thursday in a district matchup.
Warriors drop road contest in Lexington
The Southwestern Warriors made the trip to Lexington on Saturday to take on Lexington Christian. The Warriors were able to notch a goal courtesy of Chris Garcia, with an assist from Anthony Flores, but still fell by a score of 4-1. Fernando Morales recorded eight saves in net, with Kendrek Saxon recording four saves.

Maroons stay unbeaten with strong road victory
The train that is the Pulaski County Maroons boys’ soccer team continued to roll down the tracks on Saturday, as it was a matchup of the unbeaten with Pulaski taking on Western Hills. Pulaski was the team that stayed unbeaten as well, with the Maroons coming home with a hard-fought 4-2 victory.
Jay Venters, Landon Hamilton and Ethan DaSilva all had one goal and one assist apiece, with Gerardy Lopez-Morales adding an assist. Tucker Langford and Mario Garcia each had two saves apiece.

Somerset goes 2-2 at All “A” State Tournament
The Somerset Lady Jumpers competed in the All “A” State Tournament in Owensboro for the first time in program history this weekend.
On Friday, the Jumpers were able to take down Middlesboro 2-0 before taking down Owensboro Catholic in a remarkable comeback 2-1. Saturday came and the Jumpers lost to Holy Cross (Louisville) in their final pool play match 2-0. Despite that, the Jumpers advanced to the Championship Bracket but came up against an unbeaten Bishop Brossart team. The Jumpers were able to take a set, but were eliminated by Bishop Brossart by a score of 2-1 (25-13, 22-25, 12-25).

Somerset sits at 21-8 for the season and will next Rockcastle County on Tuesday for a district contest.
Somerset Christian finishes third at KCAC State Tournament
The Somerset Christian Lady Cougars were able to finish in third place at the KCAC State Tournament over the weekend.
The Lady Cougars were able to take down Foundation Christian 2-0, Cornerstone Christian 2-0 and Christian Fellowship 2-0 to advance to the championship bracket. There, the Cougars took down June Buchanan 2-0 before falling to eventual champions Trinity (Whitesville) 2-1. In the third place game, the Cougars once again took down Christian Fellowship 2-0. Senior Callie Davis was named to the All-Tournament Team.

Somerset Christian, now 11-6, will travel to Southwestern for another crosstown district showdown on Tuesday.
Lady Maroons split tri-match at Wayne
The Pulaski County Lady Maroons traveled down to Wayne County for a tri-match against the Lady Cardinals and Madison Southern on Saturday morning. Pulaski would battle against the hosts but ultimately fell 2-1 (15-25, 25-23, 25-20), but bounced back with a 2-0 sweep against Madison Southern.
Pulaski sits at 12-6 for the season and will next host McCreary Central on Tuesday.
