Actress Sreeleela recently visited the Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada and performed special poojas along with her mother and friends. She also received blessings from the priests and took prasadam.
Sreeleela is reportedly looking for a strong comeback in Tollywood after her last release, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, failed to make an impact at the box office. “She is not in a hurry to sign her next film and is waiting for the right kind of role. She is also exploring opportunities in Tamil and Hindi cinema, but nothing has been finalised yet. She has been discussing projects with a few directors, but nothing is fixed as of now,” says a source.
With competition among young actresses intensifying, Sreeleela will need to be selective about her roles. Actresses such as Sri Gauri Priya, Kayadu Lohar and Meenakshi Chaudhary are steadily making their presence felt and giving established names tough competition. “Competition is part of an actor’s job, so there is nothing to worry about,” adds the source.
Sreeleela has already worked with leading stars including Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Pothineni and Nithin. Her pairing with Ravi Teja in Dhamaka turned out to be a sensational success and established her as one of the most sought-after young actresses in Telugu cinema.
