Hyderabad: IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu here on Friday inaugurated the Road-over-Bridge (RoB), constructed at a cost of Rs.71 crore, connecting Mailardevpally and Vattepally via Shastripuram.
The four-lane bridge has a total length of 490 metres and a width of 16.6 metres, while the railway span measures 37.28 metres. With the commissioning of this bridge, travel time from Mailardevpally to Falaknuma will now be reduced to just 30 minutes.
The RoB would allow the traffic from Mailardevpally to Falaknuma RTC depot via Vattepally, by minimizing travel time of commuters by 30 minutes. It reduces the air pollution levels by minimizing fuel consumption and intermittent delays.
The total length of RoB is 490m while the length of railway portion is 37.28m and the total width of flyover is 16.60m with four lanes
