The TV presenter showed off her new solar-powered garden lanterns which she purchased on Amazon, but we’ve found the exact same ones for even cheaper
The pretty weather got so many of us thinking about our garden this weekend, and Stacey Solomon shared a little upgrade hack she discovered, with an affordable garden lighting option to add a little magic to her garden after dark.
The TV presenter and mum of five shared a new purchase on her Instagram account, saying that she wanted to light the little path that leads between her spring bluebells, so she can admire them even after the sun goes down. She had found a set of solar-powered garden lights and decided to try them out in her garden – and she absolutely loved the results.
Find Stacey Solomon’s solar powered lights for cheaper than Amazon
Stacey shared a link to the garden lights at Amazon, but they’ve been sold out there ever since. But we’ve got a little secret. We’ve found the same lights from another retailer – and they’re even cheaper than the Amazon price. To get the exact same lights as Stacey, head to glow.co.uk, where you can find the 2PK Solar Shepherd Lanterns AND they’re only £13.99 – £1 cheaper than Amazon.
Explaining how she came across them, Stacey told her Instagram followers, “The bluebells are out and they just make me so happy. As the sun goes down I go for walks in the garden with the kids and I thought, wouldn’t it be nice if I could light up this little path and put some lights in with the bluebells, so even when the sun’s not out I could see them?”
Arranging the Shepherd Lanterns at the edges of her flower bed she went on to mention how they are solar powered, so there’s no need to add batteries or attach them to mains electricity. In fact, you simply push the curved shepherd crooks into the ground and hang the lights from them, they can swing prettily in the breeze, illuminating at night time. “They were really reasonable as well, not expensive,” she added.
Stacey appears to have bought two sets of the lanterns, with four in total showing in her garden. And even before night fell, she was a huge fan.
“I actually just love them already, I love them even though they’re not lit up. They’re pretty, aren’t they? I’ll let you know how they go tonight.”
Later on she posted again, saying, “OMG I love them so much feels like magic.”
“So happy with these, I’m going to rotate them around all the pretty flowers as they bloom.”
