Steelers Co-Owner Robert Citrone's Gag Order Denied, Judge Says Baby Mama Can Speak About The Feud

Robert Citrone is once again hogging the headlines. The news came in the early hours of October 2, 2026, that the Pittsburgh Steelers co-owner’s attempt at a gag order has been denied. For those who don’t know, Citrone had filed the restrictive order against his child’s mother to keep her from discussing their legal feud regarding child support.

Pittsburgh Steelers co-owner Robert Citrone’s gag order request denied

Robert Citrone has filed for a gag order in an attempt to stop his alleged baby mama from publicly discussing their contentious child support case. However, TMZ has now reported that the request has been denied by a Pennsylvania judge. According to the court order obtained by the media outlet, the Pittsburgh Steelers co-owner’s motion for an emergency order was denied at the end of last week.

While the media outlet didn’t share the dates, it’s clear that Robert Citrone’s attempt to keep things out of the limelight might not work. However, there is another clause that the Pennsylvania judge noted. The judge reminded the two parties that the case is sealed. The judge further stated that neither party can disclose filings to third parties who are not involved in the ongoing litigation.

The order specifically stated that there is no gag order that is preventing either Pittsburgh Steelers co-owner Robert Citrone or his baby’s mother, Amy Blunt, from speaking about the case, unless the two sides agree otherwise.

More about Robert Citrone and Amy Blunt’s case

According to reports, Robert Citrone had previously asked the court to block Amy Blunt from discussing their ongoing legal battle with journalists, newspapers, or on social media. However, the Pittsburgh Steelers co-owner’s lawyers later claimed that Blunt had posted about the case online.

Robert Citrone’s legal team had accused Amy Blunt of sharing the allegations about the Pittsburgh Steelers co-owner’s wealth and their 3-year-old son, Luca, online. For those who don’t know, Blunt has alleged that she and Citrone’s son have significant medical needs. She has also indicated that she planned to launch a TikTok account sharing the details of what she described as Citrone’s alleged infidelity and refusal to adequately support their son.

Meanwhile, Robert Citrone’s legal team has argued that Amy Blunt’s online posts violated the court’s previous order. However, Blunt has pushed back and claimed that a gag order would be unfair as it violates her First Amendment rights. The case stems from a child support dispute. According to reports, Blunt is seeking access to Pittsburgh Steelers co-owner’s financial records, including tax returns and income statements.

Amy Blunt has claimed that Robert Citrone earned roughly USD 113 million in taxable income in 2024. She has urged the court to help her obtain the information needed to determine an appropriate level of support for their son. A judge previously granted Blunt’s request to depose Citrone, his wife, and his children about their lifestyle and standard of living.

According to reports, Luca is suffering from Cornelia de Lange Syndrome and other health issues and needs a wheelchair. Blunt has claimed that Citrone was worth USD 250 million when his children were young and is “compared to billions now”. However, her son, Luca, had to “fight for basic needs”. For those who don’t know, Robert Citrone has been married to Cindy for about 30 years.
