It shouldn’t be a surprise that Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr trolled Donald Trump after the midterm elections earlier this week as Democrats had a huge victory. After all, Kerr has been extremely vocal in his criticism of the president over Trump’s two terms. Seriously, there are so many examples of trolling or criticism.

That didn’t stop on Wednesday.

I’m just I’m disappointed because I was looking forward to that $5,000 check that we were all going to get,” he said. “I already spent it, in fact. I was so excited about it and sure about it that I spent it. Now I’m gonna have to figure something out.”

Of course that’s a reference to Trump’s pledge to give every adult U.S. citizen a $5,000 dividend if the Republican party ended up with a win at midterms to retain power in the House of Representatives and the Senate.
