John Stones has announced he will leave Manchester City at the end of the season.
Stones will depart as a free agent when his contract expires after enduring a season hit by injuries that has restricted him to just four Premier League starts.
The England defender has enjoyed a trophy-laden decade at the Etihad since joining from Everton for £47.5m.
The 31-year-old was Pep Guardiola’s second signing after he was appointed City boss in the summer of 2016.
Stones has lifted 19 major trophies, including six Premier League titles, one Champions League, two FA Cups, and five Carabao Cups, as a City player.
Bernardo Silva is also departing upon the expiry of his contract this summer, as he and Stones join fellow club legends like Kevin De Bruyne in making way for the next generation of City stars.
