Former Strictly Come Dancing star Ola Jordan has furiously slammed ‘cheaters’ in a series of scathing posts on social media, following her split from husband James

Strictly Come Dancing’s Ola Jordan has hit out at “cheating men”. The former BBC One dancing professional has taken to her social media, in a series of Instagram Stories, to lash out at men who cheat and question their antics.

Ola, 44, married fellow professional dancer James in 2003 before welcoming their daughter in 2020. However, just six years later, the couple announced they had separated after almost 23 years of marriage.

Prior to the announcement, the couple had already separated “some time ago,” their spokesperson confirmed in August. At the time, a source said that while the decision would be a shock to people, James and Ola knew that it was the best decision for them.

But now, Ola has shared a string of scathing posts in view of her 341,000 Instagram followers. One post read: “Why cheat if you can just leave?”

Meanwhile, another that she reshared read: “No one will ever do you dirtier than a man who swears he hates cheaters, judges other men for being unfaithful, and preaches about loyalty, just to turn around and cheat on you himself.”

Ola, however, didn’t stop there. She shared another post from a different account, reading: “A cheating man is bad enough, but yk [you know] what’s even worse? A man who pretends to be a good person, when really in reality is a pathological liar, a lustful manipulator, and an expert at playing the victim.”

The last post Ola reshared said: “Most men who cheat are at war with themselves – insecure, emotionally underdeveloped, and addicted to external validation. They chase attention because they’re empty inside, not because they’re unloved.” Ola did not name James in her posts. The Mirror approached Ola and Jordan’s representative, who was not immediately available for comment.

Speaking not long after their split was announced, James said the decision had been “tough” for him. During an appearance on ITV’s This Morning, the dancer said: “I moved out a few months ago, and it has been really tough.

“I find it hard to talk about, and I’m not going to speak about it too much, because I don’t think it’s fair on her. It’s a tricky one. I’m now sitting in a one-bedroom apartment on my own, at night, watching TV, going ‘What is going on?'”

Confirming the news of their split, the couple said in a joint statement: “After 26 years together, this is something we never imagined we would be sharing. Following recent reports in the press about our relationship and after receiving messages asking if everything is okay, we feel it’s important to speak directly rather than let speculation or hearsay tell our story.

“We have always tried to be open and honest with the people who have supported us over the years and we feel it’s only right that this update comes from us. At the moment we’re taking some time apart as we work through very difficult personal challenges. (James) moved out of the family home some time ago.

“This has been an incredibly painful and emotional journey for us both and it certainly wasn’t an easy decision. We don’t know exactly what the future holds. For now, we’re taking things one day at a time, doing what we both believe is best for ourselves, our family and most importantly….. Ella. We’re incredibly grateful for the love, kindness and concern so many of you have shown us over the years.”

The couple first met in Blackpool and were dance partners before striking up a romantic relationship.
