NELLORE: District collector and Magistrate Himanshu Shukla on Monday launched the “Kishori Vikasam Summer Campaign 2026”, a district-wide initiative aimed at adolescent development.
The collector unveiled the official poster and said the programme would run from May 1 to June 9 across the district following a summer activity calendar.
The campaign will provide training on life skills, self-awareness, health and nutrition, anaemia prevention, reproductive health and awareness on HIV/AIDS. Sessions will also cover legal protections including Posco, child marriage laws, domestic violence and the right to education, along with financial literacy, physical fitness and career guidance.

It will be implemented through coordination among the women and child welfare, education, health and police departments with support from voluntary organisations.
