Johnny Walker’s heavyweight tenure is just over one month old, and he’s already 2-0 in the weight class after beating Waldo Cortes Acosta in the UFC Fight Night 293 main event.
Walker (24-10 MMA, 10-7 UFC) took advantage of his short notice main event opportunity Saturday when he earned a third-round TKO over Cortes Acosta (17-5 MMA, 10-5 UFC) at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, putting himself firmly on the radar in his new division.
