Lavji Daliya, a Surat-based businessman, is the first Indian to own a Tesla Cybertruck. Also known as Lavji Badshah, the 55-year-old real estate developer is known for his philanthropic work.

  • Daliya owns a limited-edition Foundation Series Cybertruck.

  • The base price of the vehicle is around ₹60 lakh. However, import duties and taxes increased the cost to nearly ₹1 crore.

  • The Cybertruck was initially booked in Texas, then registered in Dubai, and finally shipped to India.

  • The car is a five-seater and fully automated, requiring six hours to charge fully and has a range of up to 550 kilometers on a single charge.

  • Daliya has emblazoned his company’s name, ‘Gopin’, on the Cybertruck.
