Susan Boyle has wowed her online followers after debuting a very different look while revealing that she’s now entering a ‘new era’
Susan Boyle has debuted a very different look. The singing legend, who found fame on Britain’s Got Talent back in 2009, has undergone several transformations in recent years, but this is her most striking.
The singing legend, 65, who is known for her incredible voice, told fans she was entering a “new era” in the coming weeks. And her impressive new look certainly whipped fans into a frenzy.
While little is known about Susan’s new era, fans couldn’t help but gush over the Scottish star, who, earlier this year, moved out of the home she lived in when she auditioned for the ITV show 17 years ago.
Walking across a road, Susan looked incredible in a long faux-fur coat that trailed past her knees. Susan also rocked a brown velour tracksuit and brown shoes as she entered the recording studio. And her clothing options were certainly not the only striking part of Susan’s new ‘Mob Wives’ look.
Her platinum-blonde hair was styled into a razor-sharp bob, resting on her shoulders. Protecting her eyes from the blistering sunshine the UK has recently experienced, Susan exuded mystery with a pair of oversized sunglasses.
Captioning her post, Susan penned: “#ad A new era starts tomorrow.” This means that today, fans will finally find out what Susan has planned. And her followers on Instagram instantly rushed to the comment section to gush over the singing sensation.
Fellow singing star Katy Perry said: “I dreamt this dream.” PinkPantheress typed: “Okayyy.” Comparing her look to that of Dame Anna Wintour, one fan said: “Anna Wintour better sleep with one eye open!!”
“Susan replacing Anna Wintour as Global Editorial Director of Vogue confirmed,” joked another. “Mob wife? No. BOB WIFE? YASSS,” said a third. While a fourth penned: “Diva alert!”
These days, although she still lives in her former home, Susan is often seen attending fancy lunches with pals and an array of star-studded events. She’s documented her outings with Ant McPartlin and fellow Scot Lewis Capaldi. And last year, she even headed to see Oasis on their mammoth Oasis Live ’25 Tour.
Susan also has some very famous fans, including Hollywood star Timothée Chalamet, who, last year, gifted the star a Marty Supreme jacket. “Thanks so much for the kind words once again, Timothée,” Susan said. She added: “All the very best for the film, looking forward to seeing it on Boxing Day and thanks for the jacket, it fits like a glove!”
While promoting Marty Supreme, during an appearance on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, he was asked who his all-time greats were. He said Susan, alongside Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham. “She dreamt big – she dreamt bigger than all of us,” Timothée said.
He added: “Who wasn’t moved by that? I remember that like it was yesterday. That was like the advent of YouTube, you know?” And she’s also turned her hand to merchandise for the first time. Earlier this year, Susan revealed she was selling branded clothing and accessories priced between £13 and £50, including t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, a mug, caps, and beanies.
At the time, Susan said: “I’ve got a little birthday surprise for you all. As I celebrate my 65th birthday today, I’m so happy to finally share my very first official merchandise range with you. I’ve loved putting this together and I hope you’ll find something you like. It’s available to order now for UK delivery, and EU shipping will be opening in the next few days, with the US following in the next few weeks, and the rest of the world shortly after.
“There are also more exciting items on the way, so do keep an eye on the shop over the coming days. Thank you for all the love you’ve shown me today and over the years. It truly means everything to me, and this felt like a lovely way to celebrate together. Have a wee look here at my official shop: susanboylemusic.com.”
