Throughout late 2025 and early 2026, the star has been actively logging hours at The Barn Studios and studios in Glasgow, working on her first new recorded material since 2019.
And it seems she could be ready to release it soon, judging by her latest Instagram post.
Susan took to her official Instagram page on Wednesday (May 27) to wipe all of her previous posts.
She then shared a series of glam snaps rocking a blonde bob, brown tracksuit, long fur coat and oversized sunglasses as she was seen in the recording studio.
She simply captioned the post: “A new era starts tomorrow.”
The post quickly went viral, racking up more than 54,000 likes.
Fans were excited for the new image, as one person exclaimed: “Diva alert,” while another added: “I’m sorry what? We are SAT Susan!”
A third chimed in: “Thank you for saving pop,” while a fourth added: “She’s about to do what she’s about to do, and she’s about to show what the other girls SHOULDA did.”
Even other celebs got involved, as Katie Perry wrote: “I dreamt this dream,” while PinkPantheress simply added: “OKAYYY.”
The post comes after Susan wowed fans with her dramatic blonde makeover back in March, as they said she was ‘ageing backwards’.
Ahead of her 65th birthday on April 1, she took to Instagram to share a snap of herself in a football shirt, showcasing a blonde makeover.
Posing with her hands on her hips, she penned: “I’m so proud to support the wonderful charity, Street Soccer Scotland. I’ve absolutely loved getting my hands on this beautiful limited edition Street Soccer Scotland x Timorous Beasties football shirt.”
Writing in response, one Instagram user questioned: “How does she look younger?”
A second person recalled: “I remember watching you 17 years ago and my God we’re you absolutely amazing. And here you are today. You look fabulous.”
A third pondered: “OMG, are you Benjamin Button? Looking so youthful and really pretty in your cute tee.”
While a fourth fan declared: “Wow! You look fabulous. Keep up the good work, and sing. I have always enjoyed your singing. Absolutely beautiful.”
