Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police recovered a stolen motorcycle within 90 minutes through swift traffic enforcement and police coordination
While conducting traffic enforcement at Mehdipatnam junction on Tuesday, along with staff intercepted, a bike bearing registration number TS10EB4088 was ridden rashly by a rider under the influence of alcohol.
During verification, the registered owner informed the officers that the motorcycle had been stolen earlier from the Gandhi Hospital mortuary area and that a theft case had already been registered at Chilkalguda police station.
The team immediately alerted the Chilkalguda Inspector and detained two suspects along with the stolen motorcycle, and coordinated until the crime team arrived. The motorcycle was recovered within approximately 90 minutes of the theft and handed over, along with the accused, to Chilkalguda police for further investigation.
Alert policing, prompt enforcement, and seamless coordination ensure safer roads and a safer Hyderabad, officials said.
