A Swiss International Air Lines flight from Delhi to Zurich aborted takeoff and was evacuated on the runway at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi early Sunday. Six passengers were injured in the incident.
According to a report by the Economic Times, the incident occurred after one of the aircraft’s engines malfunctioned and caught fire during the takeoff roll, prompting the crew to halt the aircraft and carry out an emergency evacuation.
