Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Thursday dismissed as withdrawn a writ petition filed by BRS Sanathnagar MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav, who alleged that government officials had deliberately excluded him from an official coordination meeting convened to oversee arrangements for the Sri Yellamma Pochamma Devasthanam Kalyanotsavam at Balkampet.
The endowments department recorded that the department had invited the MLA for the meeting scheduled for July 8, and that he had been personally informed at his residence of the event.
The department categorically stated that all prescribed protocol norms had been followed. Appearing for the endowments department and the temple board, senior counsel Ch. Satish Kumar contended that the matter was not one involving breach of protocol.
