Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce went without bridesmaids or groomsmen at a star-packed ceremony in New York, which was officiated by Adam Sandler – and now Taylor’s wedding outfit has been revealed
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have now officially tied the knot – and Taylor’s wedding outfit has now been revealed.
The couple, both 36, wed on Friday evening in New York City as Madison Square Garden lit up with pink neon signs that read ‘JUST&T MARRIED!’ Taylor’s publicist Tree Paine then confirmed she exchanged vows with the NFL star.
“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom. This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity,” the release, obtained by the Associated Press read.
Swift’s and Kelce’s shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and the Grammy winner wore Cartier jewelry.
Photos of the dress have not yet been released and Taylor and Travis are yet to post on their personal social media platforms.
Signs reading “JUST&T MARRIED!” have started appearing in New York, referencing the first initials of Taylor and Travis. One of the signs appears over Madison Square Garden, the wedding venue.
The pair did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen, Taylor’s publicist has also confirmed. Instead, Taylor’s brother Austin Swift served as her Man of Honour and Kelce’s brother Jason served as his Best Man.
“The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler,” the statement announcing the marriage added.
The couple had given little away in the build-up to the ceremony and there was a notable lack of social media posts from guests once they had entered the arena. Singer Camila Cabello, actors Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke and Jason Sudeikis, and model Karlie Kloss were among the guests.
Madison Square Garden had been the epicentre of extensive and lavish preparations over the last few days and black SUVs were seen pulling up to white tents stationed outside the venue, whil Bridget Jones actor Grant was pictured wearing a black suit with a bow tie walking towards the arena.
Crowds of fans and members of the media have gathered outside, hoping to catch a glimpse of stars entering the glittering event as uniformed police officers stood by and police vehicles drove past.
Photos from inside the arena show decor made up of peach-coloured roses, while exterior aerial shots show the venue was lit up with pink lights.
Ahead of the wedding, the pair donated 26 million dollars (£19.4 million) to 20 charities including nine food banks, an animal cruelty organisation, seven educational programmes, and three children’s hospitals.
