A “deviant” UK teaching assistant took obscene images of her young students to share with her paedophile boyfriend for their mutual “sick sexual gratification.”
The sick photos Pamela Martin, 44, took while working at a school in South Yorkshire, England, were only discovered when her boyfriend, Christopher O’Kane, 41, was busted in an undercover sting op set up after he discussed in chatrooms his “sexual interest in children,” police said.
Detectives then found the photos of her students — along with “vile” conversations they had about the innocent kids, Detective Constable Helena Allison said.
“Martin and O’Kane are perverted criminals,” the lead investigator said after Martin and her boyfriend were sentenced to seven years in prison Friday.
“I hope the sentence given sends a clear message that we will not tolerate anyone preying on children for their own sick sexual gratification,” the detective said.
“Martin took advantage of her role in a school to create indecent images of children, at a time when her victims and their families trusted her, as a professional, to look after them.
“She then further abused this trust by sharing these images with O’Kane, engaging in vile conversation together.”
It was not clear how many photos she took at school, nor how old the children were.

The couple both pleaded guilty to making indecent images of children, and publishing an obscene article.
Martin also pleaded guilty to recording an image under clothing to observe without consent, and theft, while O’Kane pleaded guilty to possession of an extreme pornographic image.
During their two-hour sentencing hearing Friday, both said they were “ashamed” at their behavior – but Judge Guardial Singh said it was just “because they had been caught.”
“You have every reason to look ashamed and so you should,” the judge told the couple as they sat in court with bowed heads, according to Grimsby Live.
“The obscene images were for deviant purposes,” Singh said while also expressing horror at the “vile” messages shared.
Martin and O’Kane will be on the sex offenders register for life.
The judge said he already fears the couple rekindling their romance once freed, saying, “That fills me with horror.”
