Hyderabad: Telangana Education Commission member Dr Charakonda Venkatesh directed officials to complete the development works at Telangana Public School in Vangoor within three months.
Dr Venkatesh inspected the construction work and met school management committee (SMC) members and discussed the school’s development. He asked the SMC members, principal and Mandal education officer to work in coordination. School authorities were asked to improve student attendance, adopt new teaching methods and use digital learning facilities.
Dr Venkatesh also asked them to maintain a clean environment and pay attention to drinking water and sanitation facilities. He said strengthening government schools in rural areas would give students better educational opportunities. He earlier made a surprise visit to Palugu thanda government school and spoke to students, teachers and villagers.
