Hyderabad: Two persons including a woman died after the car in which they were travelling plunged into a canal on the highway at Raghunathpalli between Hyderabad and Warangal on Saturday morning.
The accident occurred when the car driver lost control and rammed into the canal resulting in the death of two persons. The deceased have been identified as Mohammed Asad, a software engineer and Apsa Habib, BDS doctor, both belonging to the same family in Nayeemnagar.
The car driver Rahmuddin Khan, Shahini Begum, Ilesha and Reshma, who were travelling in the car, escaped with injuries. The injured were taken to a local hospital. The police have registered a case and are investigating it.
