Teen Mom UK star Chloe Patton has spoken candidly about a terrifying tumble that had her seeing “white lights.”
The 28-year-old has been a familiar face on the popular MTV series since its launch in 2016. The show recently made its comeback for a 13th series, giving viewers a fresh glimpse into Chloe’s life alongside her co-stars Amber Butler, Mia Boardman and Sassi Simmonds.
Just days after the debut episode aired, Chloe took to her Instagram Stories to address what she called “foot drama.” The mum-of-two gave a detailed account of her tumble down the stairs, which left her experiencing alarming symptoms and needing a hospital scan, reports OK!
“Loads of people were like ‘What have you done? What was the foot drama?'” she began. “I literally fell off one step. I got to the hospital for an X-ray and said I fell down the stairs, and they were like ‘Top to bottom?’, and I was like ‘No, bottom to bottom, basically.'”
The reality star went on to compare the agony to childbirth, adding: “It [the pain] was in comparison to labour. Bearing in mind my second I had decided to give birth at home with basically no pain relief, a bit of gas and air, because I know how good my pain threshold is and I don’t want to take up a bed if I don’t have to at the hospital.”
She added: “And no word of a lie when I fell at the bottom step I couldn’t hear out of my ears. I was seeing dots of white lights, I thought I was going to faint. Thankfully the baby was in bed.”
She concluded her update by confessing she felt “a little bit worried” given that the pain and swelling remained persistent. Her update was quickly followed by another revelation that she’d consulted a medical professional who informed her the recovery process could span four to six weeks.
