Hyderabad: The State government has enhanced tickets for “The Paradise” movie, which is releasing on September 24. Actor Nani is playing the lead role in the movie.
In a memo, the Home department accorded permission for enhancement of ticket rates in all theatres across Telangana for the movie. The fare for the one show screening of the movie on September 23 at 6.30 pm would be Rs.500 inclusive GST.
For single screens, the enhanced rates were Rs.48 including GST from September 24 to 27 and Rs.23 including GST from September 28 to October 3.
For multiplexes and special theatres, the increased rates were Rs.95 including GST from September 24 to 27 and Rs.45 including GST from September 28 to October 3. These rates would be applicable for five shows per day, according Principal Secretary (Home) Shikha Goel.
Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas was directed to compulsorily contribute Rs.1 lakh to Telugu Film Industry Employees Welfare Committee account. The amount will be utilized for the benefit and welfare of the employees and workers engaged in the film industry.
The department has also directed the theatre managements to screen advertisements on adverse effects of using narcotics, drugs and cybercrimes. The district Collectors, Commissioners of Police and Licensing Authorities (Cinemas) in the State and all concerned must take necessary action accordingly and ensure compliance by theatre managements.
