Hyderabad: The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TGSLPRB) on Wednesday issued a notification to fill 7,437 vacancies in the Police, Special Protection Force (SPF), Fire and Emergency Services, and Prisons Department.
Police department vacancies comprise 5,000 posts, including 148 Sub Inspectors (Civil), 14 Reserve Sub Inspectors (AR), 12 Reserve Sub Inspectors (TGSP), three Reserve Sub Inspectors (SARCPL), 23 Assistant Sub Inspectors in the Fingerprint Bureau, 3,697 Police Constables (Civil), 1,052 Police Constables (AR), 24 Police Constables (SARCPL), 20 Police Constables (Driver) and seven Police Constables (Mechanic).
The SPF has 44 Sub Inspectors and 1,380 Constables.
The Prisons and Correctional Services Department will fill 223 posts, comprising 14 Deputy Jailors (Men), one Deputy Jailor (Women), 196 Warders (Male) and 12 Warders (Female).
The Fire, Disaster Response, Emergency and Civil Defence Department vacancies include 39 Station Fire Officer posts and 751 Fire Fighter posts.
TGSLPRB said exact dates for submission of online applications will be intimated in due course.
