Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from members of the Telugu community when he reached Singapore on Sunday night for a two-day official visit of the city-state.
Expressing his gratitude on the social media platform X, the AP CM thanked the Telugu diaspora for the affectionate reception extended to him and his delegation. He said the love and warmth shown by Telugu families who had gathered in large numbers to welcome him is deeply touching.
“I am sincerely grateful for the warm reception accorded to my team and me. It was a pleasure interacting with you all in person. The affection and support shown by Telugu families in Singapore have brought me immense joy,” Chandrababu Naidu said in his post.
Several Telugu families met the Chief Minister along with their family members and extended their greetings. Naidu interacted with them at length, enquired about their experiences abroad, exchanged views on various issues, and posed for photographs with them.
As part of his two-day tour, Chandrababu Naidu will meet various stakeholders in Singapore to attract investments, explore development opportunities, and strengthen technological collaboration with Singapore-based institutions and businesses. Further, the visit is aimed at leveraging Singapore’s expertise in urban development, infrastructure, and innovation to support the state’s growth agenda.
