Hyderabad: Tension prevailed in Amberpet after a private hospital was suddenly closed amid allegations of unpaid salaries to staff and pending dues to pharmaceutical suppliers.
According to preliminary reports, pharmaceutical suppliers staged a protest outside the hospital, demanding payment of their pending dues. Meanwhile, the hospital director was kept inside a room on the hospital premises.
Police reached the spot after receiving information about the protest and intervened to bring the situation under control. Talks were underway between the hospital director and the pharmaceutical suppliers to resolve the issue.
