TG Deecet Results Declared, 84.36% Qualification Rate

HYDERABAD: Results of TG Deecet were declared on Saturday for admissions into diploma in elementary education (DElEd) and diploma in pre-school education (DPSE) courses for the 2026-28 academic session. The test recorded an overall qualification rate of 84.36 per cent, with English-medium candidates posting the highest pass percentage among the three mediums.

B. Anandu topped the Telugu-medium category with a score of 76, Javvaji Shiva Nageshwar secured first rank in English medium with a score of 83, while Danish Ahmed topped the Urdu-medium category with a score of 66.

The qualifying mark for OC and BC candidates is 35 per cent of aggregate marks. No minimum qualifying mark has been prescribed for SC and ST candidates.

Candidates can download their rank cards from the TG DEECET website. Certificate verification is scheduled from June 2 to June 5 at government DIETs in the erstwhile districts, while web options will be available from June 6 to 8.

The examination took place on May 21 for admissions into the two-year courses offered by government DIETs and private unaided elementary teacher education institutions, including minority and non-minority colleges.

According to SCERT, 32,592 candidates applied for the examination and 25,054 appeared, of whom 21,137 qualified. Women accounted for the majority of applicants and qualifiers. Out of the total 32,592 candidates applied, 26,510 were women and 6,081 were men. Out of the total 25,054 appeared, 16,984 women qualified, with 90.84 per cent and 4,153 men with 82.92 per cent.

The English medium recorded a pass percentage of 88.69 per cent, with 12,784 candidates qualifying out of 14,414 who appeared. Telugu medium registered 82.37 per cent, with 7,918 candidates qualifying from 9,612 candidates, while Urdu medium recorded 42.31 per cent, with 435 qualifiers from 1,028 candidates.
