Chennai:Thai Airways has introduced additional daytime flights between Chennai and Bangkok to cater to the growing passenger demand on the route.
The airline, which currently operates daily flights between the two cities during the night, will operate the additional services four days a week — Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Under the revised schedule, the flight from Bangkok will arrive at Chennai International Airport at 3.35 pm. The return flight from Chennai will depart for Bangkok at 4.35 pm on the same day.
The additional services will commence on Sunday.
Currently, Thai Airways operates two daily services between Bangkok and Chennai, with the inbound flight arriving in Chennai around midnight and the return flight departing at 1 am.
