Atlanta’s second choice for first base after negotiations with Freeman broke down was an accomplished fellow who plays every single day.

It’s a fellow who may be on his way to 500 home runs.

And that fellow, Atlanta native Matt Olson, is a guy who was already beloved and comfortable in that town, too.
