More than four decades on from starring in The Breakfast Club, actress Molly Ringwald appears to have ‘barely aged’ at all according to fans after she was pictured in New York

Molly Ringwald appears to have “barely aged” according to her legion of fans who watched her in The Breakfast Club in the 1980s. Now aged 58, the actress also starred in Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles most recently appeared on screen in American drama series, Feud in 2024.

Earlier this week, Molly posed alongside Broadway stars Leslie Odom Jr. and Darren Criss in New York City at at the Celebration of composer Richard Rodgers and lyricist partner Lorenz Hart. Standing in between the pair, she looked half her age as she penned in a caption on Instagram: “Backstage with these two.”

Molly donned a full-length sleeveless black gown with a metallic belt to match her neckline as she smiled for the camera in a berry red lipstick.

Her appearance prompted scores of her 1.2 million followers to remark on her youthful appearance.

“It still amazes me that you bought a Cocker Spaniel from us back in 1984 in Oklahoma City after filming, and you literally still look the exact same after 40 years,” one fan recalled.

A second person added: “So Molly doesn’t age which is amazing.”

A third joked: “If you could start looking your age that would be great for the rest of us, thanks.”

And a fourth gushed: “You look so beautiful, with that hair colour and lipstick.”

Molly previously opened up about the key to her looks to Town & Country.

“I try lots of different things, but the thing that I use no matter what is retinol,” she revealed. “My sister was trained as an aesthetician, and she has always said it’s important, but my skin is very sensitive so it took a while to find one that isn’t irritating.”

As for her makeup, the actress said she has been “interested” in cosmetics since a “very young” age.

She continued: I’ve just always liked trying new things and experimenting. I really didn’t like my freckles, and I was having teen skin issues. I would take blush and extend it up onto my temples, and my mom would say, ‘Molly is putting pink splotches all over her face!'”
