Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest continued its upward trajectory at the box office as it entered the first weekend. The film recorded its highest single-day collection so far on Day 3, taking its India nett collection beyond the Rs 33-crore mark.
According to trade website Sacnilk, The Vvaan earned an estimated Rs 14.35 crore nett in India on Day 3 across 7,135 shows. With this, the film’s total India gross collection stands at Rs 40.15 crore, while its India nett collection has reached Rs 33.60 crore.
The film also recorded a collection of Rs 1.25 crore overseas on Day 3, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 3.50 crore. Its worldwide gross collection currently stands at Rs 43.65 crore.
With the film showing stronger momentum over the weekend, its performance during the upcoming weekdays will be crucial in determining how it fares at the box office. The film has recorded a 27.6% growth on Day 3.
Released in theatres on September 25, the Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer is a fantasy thriller that blends folklore, supernatural elements and the mystery surrounding a forbidden forest.
