Three women were killed after a lorry collided with an autorickshaw near Jamedariputtuga village in Kaviti mandal of Srikakulam district on Sunday.
According to preliminary information, the women were travelling in the autorickshaw when the speeding lorry rammed into the vehicle. The impact of the collision was severe, resulting in the deaths of all three women.
Police rushed to the accident site, shifted the bodies for post-mortem examination, and registered a case. An investigation has been launched to ascertain the cause of the accident.
