Kakinada: Three youths were arrested by the police for allegedly transporting ganja-laced chocolates on the Howrah–Chennai Mail.
The arrests were made after the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF) and other officials conducted searches in the general coach of the train at Platform No. 1, following a tip-off.
The arrested persons were identified as Manoj Pradhan (27), Shambunadh Jaana (29) and Ajay Jana (25).
During the searches, police found three packets of ganja-laced chocolates in each of their luggage bags. The trio was taken into custody and further investigation is underway.
