The Thunder not only coasted to victory in the 4th quarter, the Spurs struggled to make the game competitive. The Thunder won every shooting metric, percentages and totals. The smaller Thunder team also outrebounded the Spurs. The only aspects of the game San Antonio won was steals, blocks, points off turnovers and fouls committed.
The biggest issue facing the Spurs in Game 4 were Victor Wembanyama‘s non-scoring numbers. In addition to scoring 26 points, Wemby totaled only four rebounds and was outrebounded by every other starter the Spurs had. When PG De’Aaron Fox almost doubles Wemby in rebounding there is an issue.
Wemby will need to give the Spurs 25+ points, but he needs to be a presence in the paint. Especially defensively. The only game San Antonio has won in this series, Wemby finished with 41 points, 24 rebounds, three blocks, 50% from three and a +16 plus/minus.
Oklahoma City is playing the way a team plays when they are built like OKC. Without Jalen Williams in the lineup, the Thunder didn’t need SGA to give a 50 point triple-double. SGA had his 26 points and 12 assists, however, the Spurs did not account for well, the prodution of Jaylin (spelled different) Williams, Alex Caruso and Jared McCain off the bench. All three of whom scored between 15-24 points in that game.

The Spurs must find a way to win Game 4. They cannot afford to go down 3-1 with how Oklahoma City is playing. Teams that go down 3-1 in the conference finals have only a 7% probability to win the series. That number becomes 82% when the winner of Game 4 evens the series at 2-2.
