Tiger Shroff is heading back to work, but this time, nothing is being left to chance. The actor is set to resume shooting for Lag Jaa Gale in early November, a few weeks after the firing incident in Mumbai, and the makers are planning a tightly controlled 10-day patchwork schedule to wrap up his remaining scenes.
The shoot location is being kept strictly confidential. The reason is simple. The team, led by director Raj Mehta, wants to protect its actors, and Tiger’s safety is being treated as the first priority.
A quick recap for those catching up. On October 18, Tiger was attacked by two gunmen outside a ground in Mumbai. He suffered minor injuries, while his driver was shot. Reports say the three accused, two gunmen and a bike rider, have since been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
There has been some confusion about his return to work. Earlier reports, citing Times Now, claimed that Tiger was back on the Lag Jaa Gale set as early as October 20. The latest word suggests that the actor is set to restart in November instead.
Meanwhile, Team Tiger has been firm about what is real and what is not. In an official note, the actor’s team clarified that Tiger has made no statements and released no videos about the incident, warned about AI-generated videos and fabricated stories, and urged everyone to rely only on verified communication.
As for the film, Lag Jaa Gale is a romantic action thriller from Dharma Productions, starring Tiger opposite Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya. Mehta, who has earlier directed Good Newwz, JugJugg Jeeyo and Selfiee, is at the helm.
The film was initially expected this year, but the delay in the shoot has pushed it to 2027. It is now slated to release on May 14, 2027.
For Tiger, work seems to be the way forward. The set may stay under wraps, but the intent is clear.
