Coronation Street’s Tina O’Brien has found love after splitting from her millionaire ex. The actress, famed for playing Sarah Platt on the ITV soap opera, split from interior designer Adam Fadle in November last year.
It was reported that the former couple had started dating in the summer of the same year, and made their public debut at her on-screen brother, Jack P Shepherd’s wedding in July. However, the relationship broke down after the actress, 42, realised it “wasn’t going anywhere”.
But now, it appears that she’s found love once more, with social media star and paramedic Rory Martin. The new couple have been spotted kissing and cuddling one another while out and about in Cheshire.
In images obtained by The Sun, Tina was seen with her arms around Rory as he rested his hand on her waist, as the pair shared a kiss in the street. They were also seen walking with one another, as Rory wrapped his arm around Tina’s shoulder.
Rory, originally from Ireland, often shares videos of himself on social media, both singing and playing the guitar. Elsewhere on his Instagram, he often shares videos of himself on the golf course to his 154,000 followers.
Aside from his social media career, Rory is also a paramedic, which he has documented on his page. It is not known how long Tina and Rory have been dating, and while they haven’t publicly interacted, they do follow each other on Meta.
Just days before the images of herself and Rory came to light, Tina dazzled fans with her latest holiday snaps following a solo trip to Italy. Sharing photos from her solo trip to the islands of Ischia and Capri, the mum-of-two looks like she’s living her best life. From a sizzling mirror bikini selfie in which she poses to perfection in a patterned two-piece and matching shirt, to another of the star holding a cocktail by the pool.
She also shared a snap of her quaffing champagne in a strapless dress, as well as another from her hotel room in which she sports a polka dot vest and a deep golden tan.
Tina captioned the carousel on Instagram: “I had the most incredible solo travel experience exploring Ischia and Capri. Can’t wait to plan the next one.” The actress then shared a quote from Mary Oliver, which read: “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
Her outing with Rory comes almost exactly a year since Tina went public with her ex, Adam. Sources claimed that she realised her relationship with the designer was not “going to last”.
Her decision is said to have shocked Adam, who believed they had a real future. According to friends, the interior designer was left blindsided as he thought there was real potential in the relationship.
Tina did not confirm when they split. However, she removed all traces of Adam from her Instagram in November, including memories of their romantic holiday in Greece in September.
The relationship began just four months after the end of her marriage to personal trainer Adam Crofts. They were married for six years and share a son, Beau, together.
The Mirror has approached Tina and Rory’s representatives for comment.
