
Tirumala: Police arrested a man from Tamil Nadu for stealing valuables from pilgrims visiting Tirumala.
According to reports, the accused was identified as Govinda Swami, an auto-rickshaw driver and a native of Tamil Nadu. Polic caught him in connection with thefts targeting pilgrims in Tirumala.
During the arrest, police seized 60 grams of gold and a mobile phone from his possession.
A case has been registered against the accused, and police have launched a further investigation to ascertain whether he was involved in other theft cases and to gather more details about the incidents.
Police have urged pilgrims visiting Tirumala to remain vigilant and take care of their valuables, particularly in crowded areas. Devotees have also been advised to approach the police immediately if they notice any suspicious activity or require assistance.
