New Delhi: All eyes are now set on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay, who will be delivering his maiden address at a national forum by speaking at the 11th Governing Council meeting of the NITI Aayog at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre. CM Vijay is likely to raise issues regarding central fund allocation and voice regional concerns at the NITI Aayog meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which commenced here on Thursday.
Vijay is also likely to demand the allocation of funds for key infrastructure projects. Earlier, upon his arrival at the Tamil Nadu House, he was received by Chief Secretary M Saikumar and Tamil Nadu Resident Commissioner R Jaya.
The NITI Aayog meeting will discuss measures to promote entrepreneurship, enhance skills, and create sustainable employment opportunities nationwide. Discussions will also focus on collectively charting an implementation roadmap that leverages key enablers, including governance, digital public infrastructure, and partnerships, while ensuring accountability and measurable impact. The theme of this year’s meeting is “Inclusive Human Development for Viksit Bharat @2047.
The meeting has brought together Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors from across the country to discuss the Inclusive Human Development Framework.
