The jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer just got married to the son of Nigerian billionaire lawyer, Adebayo Ogunlesi, on Saturday, October 10, 2026. While the news is wonderful, what further highlights this moment is the presence of her ex-husband, Tobey Maguire, at the wedding.
Not only was Tobey Maguire present, but he was also responsible for officiating the ceremony. Tobey Maguire and his ex-wife, Jennifer Meyer, who married back in 2007, made their separation official in 2016, and lived apart for close to ten years. Just recently, in September was when, their divorce was formally finalised by the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Cut forward a few weeks, and Tobey Maguire was surprisingly not only present at his ex-wife’s wedding but also performed the duties of the officiant in Hawaii. It takes a lot of heart to be able to perform such an important duty for such an auspicious occasion. That just further dictates the love they shared despite the differences.
Many A-list guests were present at this grand event, including his best friend Leonardo DiCaprio and girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, Jeff Bezos and wife Lauren Sanchez, Rachel Zoe and Courtney Cox, along with their significant others.
Earlier this year, Jennifer Meyer and Adebayo Ogunlesi not only announced their engagement in August but also shared a picture of their child on the occasion of Father’s Day. At the wedding, all three children were in attendance, including Meyer and Maguire’s daughter Ruby Sweetheart and Otis Tobias.
While Tobey Maguire has not officially been revealed to be a part of the upcoming and highly anticipated sequel to Endgame, Avengers: Doomsday, there are a lot of rumours spreading around his involvement in the project. Donning his Spider-Man suit, a similar pattern was observed three years back when he made a surprise appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home, after dismissing any involvement rumours throughout the promotion run.
