Hyderabad: In yet another setback to the CPI (Maoist), the central committee member Narahari surrendered before Telangana police here on Tuesday.

Reliable sources said that Narahari surrendered because of health issues. With this, only two central committee members – Vartha Sekhar and Muppala Lakshmana Rao, popularly known as Ganapathy, who is a founding leader of the Indian Maoist movement, are still with the Maoist party.

Both were reported to be missing for the last few decades. These two leaders were also suffering from health problems.
