Traitors Legend Claudia Winkleman has just crowned comedian Romesh Ranganathan and actor Sebastian “Bash” Croft as the winners of this year’s Celebrity Traitors, with the £83,000 prize pot going to refugee charities, including one that helps LGBTQIA+ people who are displaced. Of course, in true Claudia Winkleman style, the 54-year-old remained composed, cool, and completely trendy throughout the whole show.
Known for her signature fringe, deep orange fake tan, shiny locks that are envied by so many, and her Highland Gothic fashion sense on the show, she’s become quite the household name in recent years, and for good reason.

In recently resurfaced footage of her, however, fans said they didn’t even notice her at all, as she’s lacking her well-known haircut, smoky eyeliner and tan.
Appearing on 8 Out Of 10 Cats years ago, she looked like a totally different person, with some even likening her to Anne Hathaway when she had her hair different and her skin paler.
In the 2016 footage, she admitted on air that she didn’t have heating in her house, but rather than not having it, it was the fact that she couldn’t figure out how to make it work, as she didn’t know which buttons did what, and Sean Lock called her out for it.
“How do you know that?!” she laughed, as she grabbed onto Sean’s arm.
What did people say about the footage?
In the comments, someone said: “When a fringe didn’t rule her career,” because now, if someone saw Claudia without her trademark, they’d be gobsmacked.
Another penned: “Love Claudia, she’s so special. I wish her hands were the same colour as her face, though what’s going on there?”
A third wrote: “I love Claudia, she’d be an absolute riot to hang out with.”
“OMG! Is that Claudia? A lot less orange back then,” a fourth noticed, but Claudia has openly joked that she’s “addicted” to fake tan, so won’t be dropping it as part of her signature look any time soon.
In fact, during filming for The Traitors, when she ran out of her regular tan while stationed at the remote castle, she famously resorted to using gravy granules on her face… now that’s commitment! And she certainly wasn’t doing that when 8 Out Of 10 Cats aired, as her skin was porcelain.
A fifth joked: “Oh my gosh, she’s got eyebrows,” because you never see them thanks to her thick fringe.
