ADILABAD: Students from the erstwhile Adilabad district secured All India ranks in the JEE Advanced results.
Rathod Priyanka, a resident of Thadra village in Mamada mandal of Nirmal district, secured All India Rank 1509 in the ST category. She belongs to a farming family, with her parents Rathod Govind and Lalitha engaged in agriculture.
Boath MLA Anil Jadhav felicitated Priyanka and her family and appealed to parents to encourage children to pursue education.
Prernna Jadhav of Thosham Tanda in Gudihathnoor mandal of Adilabad district secured All India Rank 801 in the ST category. She had scored 990 marks in MPC in Intermediate.
Her father, Dr Naresh Jadhav, is serving as Adilabad DCC president, while her mother Chandrakala is an officer in the Agriculture Department.
