Eluru: Two persons reportedly went missing after slipping into a pit while dewatering work was under way near Gap-1 of the Polavaram Project in Eluru district on Monday.
The mishap was reported in the morning, following which rescue operations were launched to trace and rescue the two persons. Efforts to locate them were continuing at the project site.
