Hyderabad:The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has signed an agreement with the University of Rome for joint research, international research programmes, academic events, teaching resources and training activities through Unecco Chairs at the two universities. The agreement will be operationalised between the Unesco Chair in Vulnerability Studies at UoH and the Unesco Chair on Intangible Cultural Heritage and Comparative Law at the University of Rome.
Professor Pier Luigi Petrillo, Director of the School of Advanced Studies in Culture, Policies and Democracies and Chairholder, will work on the collaboration along with Professors Pramod K. Nayar and Anna Kurian of UoH. The two sides will undertake scientific studies and research and may work on national and international research programmes. The agreement also covers research and consultancy assignments entrusted by public or private institutions.
Academic cooperation will include the joint organisation of conferences, seminars and study meetings of national and international relevance. The two Unesco Chairs will also share resources for scientific research and teaching. Training courses and other educational activities are part of the agreement as well.
