Chennai: C Joseph Vijay became the second Chief Minister of the State to address a crowd in English when he summed up his Independence Day address, delivered in Tamil from the ramparts of Fort St George, on Saturday by repeating the key points in English for the benefit of those who do not follow Tamil.
Among the points of the address that the Chief Minister chose to underline in English were his mission to do away with corruption and his request to the people to show zero tolerance to corruption.
