The podcaster and influencer has repeatedly denied rumours that her marriage to ex-Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews is in trouble.

Vogue Williams admitted she recently spoke to her divorce lawyer amid mounting speculation about marriage troubles with Spencer Matthews. The Irish TV presenter, 40, made the candid confession this week as she shared the unusual reason for being in contact with her.

It comes as Vogue — who is pregnant with her fourth child with husband Spencer, 37 — spent the last year batting away persistent whispers about problems in their relationship. Reports last year claimed they were “heading for a breakup” after spending time apart for separate work commitments — forcing Vogue to deny them in a statement on social media.

Speaking on the What’s My Age Again? podcast on Tuesday, Vogue admitted: “My divorce lawyer texted me recently because she heard me talking about her on the pod.”

Vogue, who hosts podcasts My Therapist Ghosted Me with comedian Joanne McNally, and Vogue & Amber with her sister, didn’t say why she mentioned her divorce lawyer.

But she often discusses her marriage to the former Made in Chelsea star, recently complaining on her podcasts about his disruptive snoring, lack of help around the house, and frequent, long absences for running competitions.

Her admission prompted host Katherine Ryan to joke that the lawyer has “seen Spencer papped somewhere” and just wanted to “check in”.

Vogue said her lawyer was saved on her phone as “Emma Divorce” following her handling of Vogue’s split from her first husband, former Westlife star Brian McFadden, 46, in 2017.

The former I’m A Celeb! star married reformed Chelsea badboy Spencer in 2018. They share children Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, three.

Earlier this month, the couple announced they are expecting their fourth child together, sharing adorable beach photos from their holiday in St Barths, where Spencer’s parents run the luxury Eden Roc Resort Hotel.

On the podcast this week, Vogue reflected on her first marriage to Brian, which lasted from 2012 until their divorce was finalised five years later. “Getting divorced is easy if everybody is willing to be amicable about it. Well as much as you can be,” she explained.

“It was relatively easy enough because we didn’t have anything to split, not really. He didn’t go after my apartment or anything like that, because I owned that. It was easy enough. We kind of fell out a bit over the dog, but I got the dog in the end.”

She added that she and Spencer evenly split all their costs to avoid a power imbalance. “I pay for half of everything,” she explained. “On our first date with Spenny, he was like, I’ll get it. And I was like, no, you got the last one. And he’s like, no, I’ll get it. And then I was like, no. I like to pay for half. Don’t ever say that.

“You know what drives me mad? Rotten comments [on social media] – it’s not things slagging off my looks that really bother me, it’s when people are like, ‘Ugh! Living off your husband!’ I’m like, if you only f***ing knew.”

Vogue admitted she’s had difficult romantic partners in the past, saying: “I’ve been in not-great relationships, and there was always a reason for the breakup that was very, very valid.

“I’d be super loyal to people, and really protective over people in my family or friends and stuff like that. If I don’t feel the same respect back, I don’t want to have someone like that in my life.”

Vogue and Spencer met while filming Channel 4’s The Jump in 2017, shortly after her divorce from Brian was finalised. They married in June 2018 and welcomed their first child, Theodore, that September.

Despite the ongoing speculation about their relationship, Spencer recently paid tribute to his wife as she entered the I’m A Celebrity jungle last November, calling her “absolutely extraordinary” and “my best friend, a phenomenal wife and a perfect mother.”
