Vogue Williams, who just announced that she’s pregnant with her fourth child, had to put her foot down while discussing plans for her family with husband Spencer Matthews
Vogue Williams has admitted she’s received a mixed reaction to her pregnancy news while debating baby names with her sister, Amber. The presenter announced that she and husband Spencer Matthews, 37, are expecting their fourth child in a sweet Instagram post last month.
However, Vogue, 40, was quick to hit back at suggestions that she was planning to expand her family even further, after a fan remarked that the star could “save the crazy names for baby number five”.
Speaking on the Vogue & Amber podcast, the duo read through baby name ideas from listeners, including Finn or Hampton for a boy, or Tallulah for a girl.
Although Vogue said she “loved” the name Tallulah, Amber shared her concerns about what the name could be abbreviated to, objecting to “Tally” or “Lulah”.
Vogue then interjected to read out another comment from a listener, which read: “Saving the crazy names for baby number five.”
The Irish model promptly shut down the idea while admitting that people are already looking at her “like a complete weirdo” for having a fourth child.
She insisted: “There is no baby number five – no, no. I can’t… even people are like, ‘oh congrats’, like looking at me like I’m a complete weirdo having a fourth child, they’re like, ‘Jesus Christ, give it a rest would you?’
“So no, there won’t be any baby number five because I don’t think I’d be up for it.”
Vogue and former Made In Chelsea star Spencer have been married since June 2018, after meeting in early 2017 while filming reality show The Jump.
The couple are parents to three children; Theodore, Gigi, and Otto, who appeared in their pregnancy announcement photos from a beautiful beach in St. Barths in April, complete with the caption: “BABY NUMBER 4 INCOMING…”
Vogue previously had to shut down claims about trouble in paradise with Spencer, after speculation about their marriage swirled when he made the decision to leave their joint podcast, with Amber replacing the reality star.
Speaking about the rumours on Instagram, Vogue said: “It’s with great sadness that I have to let you know that Spen and I are NOT breaking up! I usually avoid addressing baseless and cruel rumours, but this just keeps coming up.
“It’s disappointing to see this narrative being pushed almost daily when it’s absolutely not true, and much more importantly, I don’t want my children hearing these lies in the playground.
“We’re not sure what the angle is or where it’s coming from, but the whole thing feels very strange and mean. We’re very happily married and in love and I hope posting the truth on my own platform might make it stop.”
