Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews welcomed their fourth child earlier this month, but she now admits their family may not be complete after all
Vogue Williams has seemingly changed her mind about expanding her family following the birth of her fourth child, Remy. The podcast host and her husband, Spencer Matthews, introduced fans to their newborn son earlier this month, adding to their already bustling household.
Earlier this year, the 40-year-old claimed Remy would be her last child, while Spencer insisted there could be more. She has now revealed that they have seemingly swapped opinions on the matter.
Speaking on the Vogue and Amber podcast, the podcast host admitted she was already craving another baby as she gushed over how well Remy had been sleeping. “I don’t know how I’m going to have no more kids,” she told her sister and co-star.
Shutting down the idea, Amber chimed in: “I think this is the end of the road, this is the limit.”
Vogue went on to say that her husband has also said “no” to a fifth child, but she’s still not ruling it out. After Amber claimed that her sister had “enough” children, Vogue replied: “I just want like pocket fulls.”
Following Amber’s admission that seven is her favourite number, she added: “Eight’s mine so I could have eight. I am getting a seven-seater car and I’m like well, we’re only using six of the seats.”
She also told her sister about the sudden realisation of no longer having “the excitement of meeting somebody that’s been in your stomach for 40 weeks,” adding: “And I was like, I’ll never have that feeling again of being like, ‘What’s he going to look like?'”
Vogue and Spencer are also parents to eight-year-old son Theodore, six-year-old daughter Gigi and four-year-old son Otto. Recently speaking on her and Joanne McNally’s My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, Vogue revealed the names she had considered for her newborn before settling on Remy.
The former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star admitted he was actually called Rocky “for a day” before she changed it to Remy. She also revealed that Elvis, Sonny and Fox were on the list, although Spencer particularly didn’t like the latter.
Recently discussing parenthood on Jamie Laing’s NewlyParents podcast, he opened up about their “fractured” family life as they adjust to life as a family of six.
“Vogue and I both in our own ways feel a bit lonely at the moment,” he explained. When asked why this was, he replied: “Well, because we don’t sleep next to each other.
“I don’t really like sleeping separately to her. We like being next to each other, even if you’re not communicating, you’re together. Whereas at the moment, it kind of feels a bit fractured. It sort of feels like you’ve fallen out because you’re staying in a spare room,” he added.
