West Bengal Govt Announces Portfolio Allocation; CM Adhikari Retains Key Ministries

The West Bengal government has announced a reshuffle of ministerial portfolios, marking a significant administrative reorganisation. Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari will continue to oversee key departments, including Home & Hill Affairs, Land & Land Reforms, Refugee Relief & Rehabilitation, Power, Information & Cultural Affairs, and Personnel & Administrative Reforms, along with other unallocated departments.

Under the reallocation, Dilip Ghosh has been assigned Panchayats & Rural Development and Agricultural Marketing, while Agnimitra Paul will head Urban Development & Municipal Affairs. Tapas Roy has been given charge of Industry, Commerce & Enterprises, Public Enterprises & Industrial Reconstruction, and Non-Conventional & Renewable Energy. Arup Kumar Das will oversee the Irrigation & Waterways Department.
