During the chat, West revealed that he wanted to announce the news on his social media handle. West Wilson was quoted as saying:

“I wanted to tell it on my own but that [exit rumour] is true. In [Bravo’s] defense, I don’t think it would have been a fun summer.”

After the reunion of Summer House Season 10, multiple reports suggested that West Wilson has been dropped from the upcoming season. Reportedly, Bravo didn’t even renew his contract after Summer House Season 10. However, a report by TMZ suggests that West might make a cameo in the upcoming season.

While the exact reason behind his exit has not been revealed, multiple reports claim that after the backlash he received for being with Ciara Miller and Amanda Batula, he might not be a good choice for Season 11. If reports are to be believed, makers wanted fan-favourite contestants like Ciara, who can increase the popularity of the show. It is worth mentioning that the upcoming season is scheduled to begin filming over the Fourth of July weekend.

In the statement, they revealed that they had been friends for a while and falling in love with each other was the last thing they expected. They also apologised to their fans for unknowingly hurting them. A part of their statement could be read as:

“Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it. We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years through all the high and lows, but what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. For those who do not know, soon after the pair confirmed their relationship, West’s ex-girlfriend and Amanda’s best friend, Ciara Miller dropped some truth bombs, which sparked backlash online.

As per Ciara, West was trying to reconcile with her days before he confirmed romance with Amanda. On the other hand, multiple users questioned Amanda Batula’s relationship with her ex-husband, Kyle Cooke. Since Amanda confirmed her relationship with West within two months of her divorce with Kyle Cooke. Netizens felt that she probably cheated on her ex-husband.
