AFC West bragging rights are on the line today.
At 4:25 p.m. ET, Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs swoop into Bo Nix’s Denver Broncos home for a Week 8 matchup that determines who sits atop the division for the week.
Coming into today’s showdown, both clubs have five wins. Kansas City started the year undefeated — tallying victories over Denver, Indianapolis, Miami, Las Vegas and the Chargers — before losing to the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks in the “Kenneth Walker III Bowl” last Sunday.

Although the Broncos lost to the Chiefs in Week 1, they’ve since rebounded and have come out on top in their last three, beating the Chargers, Seahawks and Cardinals.
This afternoon, oddsmakers give Kansas City a 1.5-point edge.
Don’t count out Denver, though.
Not only are they looking to avenge their rough 31-10 Week 1 loss but Sean Payton could notch his 200th career win as a head coach in his 300th regular season game.
“We’re just trying to find a way to get this one,” Payton said.
Expect an all-out battle at Mile High.
